Local Impact

Each year Big Brothers Big Sisters of Vermilion County collects data on how successful mentoring is in Vermilion County.  From 2008 to 2009:

• 64% improved in general academics
• 84% improved attitude towards school
• 67% became more prepared for school
• 72% improved in class participation
• 49% improved classroom behavior
